By Pamela
"Well, I really like all those pieces! Good job Angel." Joyce
grinned as she walked into her office at the gallery, followed by her art buyer.
"Thank you. I'm glad you are pleased."
She sat down behind her desk as he casually sat in one of the chairs on the
other side.
"So tell me the truth, how much did you miss my daughter?"
He laughed. "A lot. Probably too much. I know it sounds cliché and, well,
incredibly corny, but a day without Buffy is like a day without sunshine for me.
She really is the light of my life."
Joyce smiled, happy that her daughter had found a man who loved her so much.
"She missed you too. Although, I do have to say it was probably for the
best. You know, she has her SAT's tomorrow morning, so she has been studying
non-stop for the past few days. I think she deserves a night of fun.
Unfortunately, I have a dinner meeting planned tonight so I can't spend it with
her. Think you could help me out?" she teased.
"Are you asking me to go on a DATE with your daughter?" he joked.
There was a knock at the door and Buffy walked in. As soon as she saw Angel her
face brightened and she launched herself into his arms as soon as he stood up.
"Angel! I missed you so much!"
Angel couldn't resist hugging and kissing her. He really found it
unprofessional, but he missed her too much.
They settled down and Buffy plopped down in the chair next to the one Angel sat
in again.
"Hi Mom."
"Hi sweetie." Joyce said, looking up from some paperwork she had
distracted herself with while her daughter and Angel greeted each other. She
noticed the box in Buffy's hand. "What's that?"
"Band candy."
"Band candy?" Angel asked, knowing this was one of those 20th century
things he had to be let in on.
"Candy, sold as a fundraiser for the school band." Buffy explained.
"Buffy you aren't in the school band." Joyce said, her brows furrowed.
Buffy shrugged. "I know that, Snyder knows that, yet he doesn't seem to
CARE."
Joyce shook her head. "What a sad little man."
"Sad? When you say sad, do you really mean sadistic?" Buffy replied.
Joyce smiled, then looked at Angel. "Well, I guess that was it, do you want
to get out of here early tonight?"
"Sure."
"Cool!" grinned Buffy. "You can give me a ride home!"
Buffy and Angel told her goodbye, then made their way out in the gallery's
parking lot to his car. When they were outside, Buffy wrapped her arms around
his waist and he put his arms around her shoulders.
"I really did miss you Angel."
"I missed you too baby."
"Take me with you next time!"
"Ask your mother."
Buffy laughed. They reached the 4 Runner and he opened the door and helped her
in, ever the gentleman. He quickly drove her home and rushed to open her door
for her again, before she could get a chance to do it herself. She always acted
annoyed, but he knew she loved it.
As soon as they walked in the door, she grabbed his hand and pulled him
upstairs. He offered no resistance. They walked in her room and he kicked the
door shut.
They stood in the middle of her room and she took his face in his hands and said
"I'm so glad you're here."
She kissed him hungrily and pulled his jacket off. They moved as one until they
reached her bed, where they flopped down without their lips parting. In a matter
of seconds, they had ripped every article of clothing off themselves. Buffy
wrapped her legs around Angel's waist and he could feel the tip of his erection
rubbing her clit.
"Wait…wait…" Angel said, using all his self control not to enter
her right then.
"What?" Buffy asked, annoyed.
"We…need a…condom…" he replied, panting.
Buffy smiled. "No we don't. Remember I told you I went on the pill but it
took a while before it became effective?"
Angel nodded and kissed her again.
"Well, it's effective." She informed him, then moaned as he slid
inside her hot sheath.
He pulled back, so that only his head remained buried inside of her, then he
thrust back in so that his entire erection was filling her. He continued to
pound inside of her in a steady rhythm. They didn't talk, just occasionally
moaned and groaned. They had missed each other greatly in the past few days, so
this round of love-making was filled with raw lust and passion.
Angel started placing kisses on her neck, and even though he wasn't a vampire
any more, the both of them still found it highly erotic. Buffy ran her hands up
and down his back, lightly scratching him with her nails.
As they grew closer to orgasm, he thrust faster and harder inside her. She began
prodding him along.
"Yes….Angel…..come inside me……Oh god!"
In a blinding light they were both overcome with ecstasy and orgasmed together.
Buffy milked his penis as he exploded inside of her.
They laid on the bed for a few moments, clinging to each other like their lives
depended on it. Eventually they got under the covers and gently kissed each
other's lips.
"Oh crap!" Buffy exclaimed.
"What?" Angel asked, nervously, it would be just their luck that she
would forget a pill.
"I left my candy in Mom's office!"
Angel sighed relief. "Don't worry, I'm sure she will bring it home, if she
doesn't notice, we can go get them tomorrow."
Buffy smiled at him. "You are so sweet!" Then she eyed her bedside
clock. "Mom won't be home for hours. These meeting always go 'til nine or
ten."
"Oh really?" Angel said, gazing deeply into her eyes.
"Yup."
They resumed their kissing for a few moments, until Buffy started giggling,
which caused Angel to pull back and give her a confused look.
"Sorry, it's just…Cordelia was right."
"Cordelia?"
"Yeah, she was telling me….that…it's better without a condom"
Buffy told him, embarrassed. Then she realized how ridiculous it was for her to
be embarrassed, so she grinned and told him. "That was great! I mean,
really, really great!"
Angel laughed and hugged her close. "Yes it was."
"You know, we could do it again...and again…and again….we have a long
time." Buffy told him in a sexy voice.
"Sounds good to me." He agreed as he once again laid on top of her and
they began kissing once again.
They were interrupted when Buffy's bedroom door swung open and Joyce stood in
the doorway. In shock, Angel moved off of Buffy, who saw her mother and sat up,
clutching the sheet to her chest.
"Mom!" she screamed.
Joyce giggled. "Sorry you two! Just pretend I'm not here!" She laughed
as she walked over to Buffy's closet and pulled out her knee high boots. She
held them up and asked Buffy "Do you mind if I borrow these?"
Shocked, Buffy moved her head from side to side. Joyce skipped to the door and
waved good bye and shut the door, a huge grin plastered on her face.
"Huh?" was all Buffy could spit out.
Angel and Buffy sat alone in the room for a moment, amazed by what had just
occurred.
"That was weird." Angel said finally.
"Weird doesn't begin to cover it."
Angel noticed his straining erection had not shrunk during their little
interruption. He looked over at Buffy and shrugged. It was worth a shot.
He moved back over to her and began kissing her neck. Buffy looked at him,
appalled that he could even think of sex after her mother had done…..that!
She pushed him away. "What…How could you? My MOTHER walked in here and
saw us and…giggled…and took my shoes!"
Angel returned to nuzzling her neck. "I know…..I was here….and we'll
figure out what was going on….in half an hour."
Buffy knew she should go find Giles to see what was happening, but Angel was
distracting her. Thirty minutes couldn't hurt….
She gave in and lay back on the bed, allowing Angel to pleasure her. Damn the
world, they deserved every minute together that they could get.
"Are you sure she'll be there?" Angel asked anxiously as he drove
himself and Buffy to the Bronze.
"Yeah, Oz's band is playing there. And anyway, this is our only hope. I
called her house and all I got was the machine. I can't find Giles anywhere. I
guess if we can't find her we have to search for Xander and Cordelia."
Buffy told him desperately.
"You're right! We don't want to do that, those two are annoying!"
Buffy rolled her eyes. "I meant because Willow knows a lot more about
looking things up than they do Angel!"
"Oh." He replied. "Well, yeah that too."
They pulled in front of the Bronze and Buffy jumped out of the car right after
it stopped moving. Angel had to practically run to keep up with her.
They walked in and stopped quickly in shock of what they saw. There were middle
aged people all over the place, dancing, playing games, making out.
"What the Hell is going on?" Angel asked.
Buffy saw Willow standing under the staircase nervously. She grabbed Angel's
hand and pulled him with her.
"Willow, something very weird is happening here!" Buffy exclaimed.
"I know! Do you think we should find Giles?"
"I've tried. I called his apartment and the library. He isn't at either one
of them. I guess there are other places he might go, but I don't know of
them."
"I don't know either!" Willow told her. She really did not like this.
They noticed Angel seemed preoccupied by the stage. They followed his gaze and
saw a middle aged man shove Devon back from the microphone and take over the
singing. He was soon followed by two other men. They started singing some old
song that Buffy knew sounded familiar, probably from one of her mother's radio
stations.
"This is scary. Way scarier than any vampire." Buffy declared.
They stood there and watched the men's impromptu singing debut with horrified
fascination, not unlike a person staring at an accident scene, for several
moments. Oz walked up to them and informed them that the band had decided to
call it a night since their usual crowd wasn't there and this one seemed to have
a different "taste" in music.
"Have either of you noticed your parents acting…different…at all?"
Buffy asked Willow and Oz.
"I haven't seen them. They were both still at work when Oz picked me
up."
"My parent's just took a box of that band candy and locked themselves in
their room." Oz told them, with an embarrassed shrug. "Although, they
do that sometimes."
"It does seem like the adults are acting…..unadultlike." Willow
said, looking around at the unusual crowd.
"Hey gang! This place is fun city, huh?" Snyder said, walking up
behind them and placing his hands on Buffy and Willow's shoulders.
"Principal Snyder?" Buffy asked, confused by his new, cavalier
attitude.
Oz and Willow were just as confused. Angel was even more than them. He had heard
about the 'principal from Hell' on more than one occasion and he had never
seemed so… friendly.
"Call me Snyder. Just a last name… like Barbarino."
Angel and Oz shared amazed glances. Willow and Buffy just looked at the little
man standing between them with shock, and a little bit of horror.
Snyder removed his hands from the girls and punched the air with his arms, in an
excited gesture. "Ooh, I am so stoked!"
Buffy and Willow seemed even more frightened by his sudden outburst of something
they had never seen Snyder experience, except when inflicting punishment on
someone- happiness.
"Woo.. Hey, did you see Ms. Barton? I think she's wasted. I'm gonna have to
put that in her next performance review…" he said, then added in a
singsong voice "Cause I'm the principal!"
With that he turned around and danced away from the four of them.
"Okay… you guys haven't been completely exaggerating about how horrible
he is, right? Because, yes he is very bizarre, but I think he would be a very
easy principal to have." Angel said.
Buffy shook her head. "Nope, he is way more nazi-like usually."
"I don't like this." Willow said. "They could have heart
attacks."
"Well… maybe there's a doctor here…" Buffy said, just as worried
as her friend.
All of a sudden a man wearing a tie, but no shirt, jumped onto the stage, then
dove off of it, but the crowd didn't catch him as they were supposed to.
"I think that is my doctor!" Willow exclaimed. "He's usually a
little less… topless."
Snyder walked back up behind the two girls and informed them, "I got a
commendation for being principal… from the mayor! Shook my hand twice!"
"That's nice!" Buffy said, still weirded out by the man who found
great pleasure in making her life Hell.
Snyder noticed some other middle aged women walking by. "Whoa! There are
some foxy ladies here tonight!"
Then he moved in between Willow and Buffy and chased after the women. The four
of them looked on in amazement for a moment.
"What is happening?" Oz asked.
"I don't know," Buffy said. "but it's happening to a whole lot of
grownups."
"They're acting like a bunch…" Willow started.
"They're acting like a bunch of us!" Buffy said.
"Speak for yourself Honey." Angel joked, receiving a disapproving look
from Buffy and an amused one from Oz.
"I don't act like this." Willow said.
"Something is definitely changing them." Buffy said suspiciously.
"A spell?" Willow asked.
"They're teenagers." Angel said, amazed.
"It's a sobering mirror to look into, huh?" Oz added.
Snyder walked up to him and looked closely at him. "You've got great
hair."
He walked away and Oz touched the back of his head nervously.
"Okay, we need to figure out was going on." Angel told them.
"Yeah, this has Hellmouth fingerprints all over it!" Buffy added.
The four of them walked out of the Bronze, looking horrified by the 'adults'
around them. As they walked out the door, Snyder walked up behind Oz.
"Where are we going?"
Oz just looked at him and continued walking out.
"Hey, wait for me!" Snyder shouted, chasing after them.
Oz's van was parked just outside the Bronze. "I'll drive." He jumped
in the drivers seat, with Willow in the passenger. Buffy and Angel got in the
back, and Snyder joined them before they could stop them, sitting by himself in
the back seat..
Buffy tried to ignore Snyder and said "We need to find Giles!"
"Library?" Oz asked.
"I don't know, I've called there, I've called his place, no Giles."
Willow shrugged. "Well, the library is our best shot."
Snyder leaned forward to the front seat. "Let's go do donuts in the
football field!"
They all looked at him as if he were crazy. Oz peeled out of the parking lot. As
soon as they were on the street, they were stopped when a truck ran into them.
They jumped out of the van and the other driver got out of his truck as well. He
offered a quick apology, then ran off.
"Is everyone okay?" Willow asked.
They all nodded then Angel looked at Buffy. "Oh God, your head!"
"What?"" she asked, placing her hand to her head. She pulled it
away and found blood on her hand.
Willow looked closely at the cut on Buffy's brow. "I think it'll be okay.
If you were anyone else, I'd say you need stitches, but…"
"But I'm the slayer, with ultra fast healing." She said, then smiled
at Angel. "I'll be fine."
He smiled back at her, still a little nervous, then he grabbed her hand and
squeezed it. Snyder went and leaned against the side of the van and pulled out a
chocolate bar as Oz inspected the damage. He walked back other to Angel and the
two girls.
"It doesn't look too bad, just a dent."
"Well, that's good." Willow smiled weakly.
A man came up and snatched Snyder's candy out of his hand. Snyder took off after
him.
"Hey! Give it back!"
The rest of them looked around. They were still right by the Bronze. Adults were
milling around. The houses across the street had older men loitering in front of
them. Some women that were old enough to be mother's of the teenagers walked by
them, eliciting catcalls out of them.
"What is going on?" Willow asked, frustrated.
Snyder stomped back over to them. "That guy stole my candy!:
"The candy!" Buffy exclaimed. "I bet it's the candy."
"You think it's cursed?" Angel asked.
Buffy shrugged. "This is Sunnydale."
"A curse?! I've got a curse!" exclaimed Snyder.
Buffy turned and looked at him, then pinned him to the truck.
"Who's behind it?" she demanded.
"I don't know." He told her. "It came through the school board.
If you knew that crowd…"
"Where did it come from? Do you know where to get it?" She yelled.
"Yeah."
Buffy let go of him and turned back around to the other three. She gestured to
Willow and Oz. "You guys go get Xander and Cordelia, and go look this up at
the library. Angel, Ratboy and I are going to go the source!"
Willow and Oz hopped back in the van and took off, in search of their friends.
Buffy, Angel, and Snyder walked back into the Bronze's parking lot and got into
his car.
He directed them to one of the warehouses near the docks. Angel stopped the car
and they all hopped out. There was a vamp standing on a platform in front of the
door, tossing candy out to waiting 'adults'. As soon as Snyder saw that, he took
off to get in front of the crowd. Buffy and Angel marched behind him. Buffy
stopped abruptly and Angel did too, when he noticed she was no longer at his
side. He turned around and saw her staring at a couple in a passionate embrace,
lips locked in a hungry kiss. The couple was Giles and Joyce. Angel knew things
were not going to be getting better anytime soon.
"Mom? Giles?"
Giles didn't even look up, he just told her "Go away, we're busy."
Buffy grabbed her mother's arm and pulled her away. "Mom?!"
"Hey!" Joyce said, annoyed.
Buffy looked her mom up and down, shocked. Her hair almost look stylish, she had
on knee high boots, and a feather wrap that Buffy had never seen before.
"Where did you get that coat? Never mind. Listen..."
Giles grabbed Buffy's arm and twisted her back around. "Back off!" he
told her, pissed off.
Angel didn't like the way this was going. He didn't care if Giles wasn't really
Giles, nobody hurt his Buffy. He tried to remember that she was the slayer and
could take care of herself, but he couldn't help the fact that he was
overprotective.
"Giles, think about this. You wanna fight me, or you wanna let me talk to
my mother?"
Giles still knew who Buffy was, what she was capable of, and that he was no
match for her. He let go of her arm and ran his fingers through his hair. He
glared at Angel. Angel had known Giles was wild when he was younger, but he had
no idea he was so arrogant. He reminded him of Xander!
Buddy turned back around and looked at Joyce. "Mom, look at me. Do you know
who I am?"
"Of course, you're Buffy." Joyce said, trying to distract her
daughter. "Hey, look, they're giving away candy! You want some candy?"
"No, I don't, and you don't need any more either!"
"I'm fine! I can have more if I want!"
"You are not fine. You need to go home."
"Screw you!" Joyce glared. "I want candy."
"Mom?" Buffy whispered, frightened by this new side of her mother.
"You get to slay things, and I can't do anything about it! Well, I want to
have fun!"
"Mom, this is a little different!" Buffy told her, her voice rising.
Angel realized that even though Buffy was a lot more mature than most seventeen
year olds, but she was still a teenager, and right now so were Giles and Joyce.
So he had to be the adult.
He walked over to Buffy and put his hand on her shoulder. "Buffy, why don't
we try to find out what is going on here?"
She looked up at him and nodded. He turned and walked towards the vamp handing
out candy. Buffy grabbed her mother by the hand and followed him. Giles sighed
and followed them.
"Hey Brit-face! Wait up!" Snyder called, then followed the other four.
With Angel leading the way, they fought past the vampires and entered the
warehouse, finding it filled with boxes of the chocolate bars. They wandered
around, looking for someone or something to tell them what was going on. They
soon found it as they entered a room and found a man talking on the phone, with
his back to them.
Buffy crossed her arms. "Ethan Rayne."
Giles and Angel stood behind Buffy, with Joyce and Snyder a few feet back.
"Might want to hurry." Ethan said, into the phone, then set it down.
"Ethan." Giles said, in a none-too-happy tone.
"Ripper." Ethan replied nervously, then turned and broke into a fast
run.
Buffy, Angel, and Giles took off after him. Ethan ran under the inclined end of
a conveyor, and pushed a rack behind him to block their way, so the three of
them jumped over the low end of the conveyor and continued racing behind him.
They ended up in a maze of boxes. With Buffy leading the way, they raced down
the halls and found themselves at a dead end. They stopped abruptly and Buffy
looked around, trying to figure out where she lost Ethan.
Giles stood behind them and panted. "Where… Bloody Hell!"
"That's what smoking will do to you." Buffy scolded. "Now be
quiet."
Angel could see she was trying to use her slayer senses to find Ethan. He
remained still and quiet, so he wouldn't break her concentration.
"Well... Where'd the bastard go?" Giles asked.
Buffy looked at him, annoyed, and shushed him.
She looked around and listened carefully again.
"What?" Giles said, this time receiving a glare from Angel.
Buffy pretended like she was going to turn around and leave, but then she
suddenly did a spin and kicked a crate. She pulled away a piece of wood and
reached in, pulling Ethan's head out.
"Look. A box full of farm-fresh chicken." Buffy dead-panned.
Angel grinned with pride. She never ceased to amaze him.
Ethan smiled nervously, but that smile soon faded.
Buffy glowered at Ethan. "So, Ethan, what are we playing? We're pretty much
in a talk-or-bleed situation. Your call."
Exasperated, Giles ordered "Hit him!"
Buffy turned her head and glared at him and Angel sighed.
Ethan spoke up "I-I'd just like to point out that this wasn't my
idea."
Giles started to pace behind Buffy as Angel casually leaned against some crates.
"Meaning…?" Buffy questioned Ethan.
"I'm subcontracting. It's Trick you want. I'm just helping him collect a
tribute... for a demon."
"He's lying!" Giles shouted, "Hit him!"
"Giles.." Angel warned.
"I don't think he is, and shut up." Buffy told her watcher.
Giles, however, was too excited. "You're MY slayer! Go knock his teeth down
his thr.."
"Giles!" Buffy exclaimed, halting his rant. He just went back to
pacing. Buffy turned back to Ethan. "What demon?"
"I don't remember."
Buffy gave him a punch in the nose, causing him to stumble back inside the
crate.
Giles jumped and swung his fist in the air. "Yes!"
Angel couldn't help but break into a grin. Buffy turned and gave them both looks
that wiped the smiles off their faces.
"Lurconis. Demon named Lurconis. They wanted a way to get the tribute away
from people."
"So you're just Diversion Guy?"
"More than just a diversion." Ethan explained, "Well, they said
the tribute was big, so big that people would never let them take it. That
people had to be out of it. And later on, when the candy wore off, they'd blame
themselves."
Buffy sighed, "Hence, land of the irresponsible. So, where's Trick?"
"I don't know exactly."
"Hit him again!" Giles ordered.
Buffy held up her fist, threatening Ethan, who warded her off with his hand.
"No! I-I-I really don't know. Delivering the tribute."
Buffy took an imposing step closer to him. "Which brings us to the bonus
question, and believe me when I say a wrong answer will cost you all your
points."
Behind her, Giles jumped up and down, giddily, with high hopes of a good fight
and a huge grin on his face.
Buffy glared at Ethan "What's the tribute?"
"What's his name again?" Buffy asked Angel, so that she could
inform Willow who was one the other end of the phone.
"Lurconis."
"It's Lurconis Will."
As Buffy continued to explain to willow what she had found out, Angel looked
around the room.
Snyder looked at Ethan, who was leaning on a table, and said "She whooped
you good, huh?" The he threw two punches in the air and said "Yah! Wah!"
Ethan just looked at him like he was the strangest thing he had ever seen.
Snyder then proceeded to move towards Joyce, who was leaning on the wall on the
other side of Buffy.
"I can do that. I took Tae Kwon Do at the Y." He said proudly, then
went into a series of kicks and punches, grunting with each one, trying to
impress her. She just rolled her eyes and looked away. Snyder sighed and leaned
on the wall as well.
Ethan saw a crowbar on the table and looked around. Angel was watching, and
trying hard not to laugh at, Snyder. Buffy was one the phone with someone, and
Ripper was on the other side of the room, pacing and swearing up a streak. He
gingerly picked up the crowbar and advanced toward Buffy.
Angel saw him moving towards his girlfriend with the crowbar at the ready. He
quickly grabbed the crowbar and used it to strangle Ethan. "I wouldn't do
that if I were you."
Buffy turned around and glared at Ethan. She handed her mother the phone and
walked over to Ethan.
"Meet my boyfriend. He kind of doesn't like when people hurt me."
Angel smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Buffy?" Joyce said nervously. "Uh, it's, um, Willow. She wants
you real bad."
Buffy walked over to her mother and put the receiver up to her ear. "Uh
huh?"
Buffy stood there for a moment, listening to whatever Willow had come up with.
She hung up and grabbed Joyce's hand. "Come on."
"Uh, Buffy?" Angel asked her, gesturing to the man he still had in a
headlock, minus the crowbar.
"Do we have anything we could use to tie him up?" Buffy suggested.
Joyce reached behind her back and pulled out a set of handcuffs, then handed
them to Buffy.
"NEVER tell me." Buffy said, then grabbed the handcuffs and walked
back over to Angel and Ethan.
Buffy sighed as she looked down at the discarded wristband left in an empty
crib of Sunnydale General's maternity ward.
"Something's going to eat those babies?" Joyce asked, worried.
Snyder moved next to her, trying to show his "sensitive side" by
shaking his head and saying "I think that is so wrong."
Giles and Angel came into the room.
"She says she never saw who took them." Angel told them.
"Dozy cow." Giles added.
Buffy looked up at them. "I KNOW who took them."
Giles sighed, "Well, then let's do something. Let's find the demon and, and…
kick the crap out of it."
"Is that what happens now?" Snyder asked.
As Buffy started pacing, Angel replied "Yeah, if we knew where they
were."
Giles got a strange look on his face and said "Lurconis dwells beneath the
city, filth to filth."
Buffy stopped pacing. Angel looked over at him. In unison, they asked
"What?"
"Ooh! I know this." He exclaimed. "Uh… I knew this. 'Lurconis'
means… 'glutton'. And we'll find it, um… in the sewers."
Joyce wrinkled her nose. "The sewers?" then she walked over to him and
they hugged, causing Buffy to roll her eyes and Angel to laugh until he saw
Buffy give him a dirty look.
"Uh, good. You go do that thing with the demon, and I'll stay
here in case the babies, you know, uh... find their way back." Snyder
suggested.
Joyce and Giles let go of each other and she said "The babies must be so
scared!"
Giles gave Snyder a dirty look. "You filthy little ponce. Are you afraid of
a little demon?"
"If you want to splash around in the poo," he replied, shoving Giles,
"you're
the filthy one!"
Giles shoved him back so Buffy got between them. Angel moved closer, in case she
needed assistance.
"Okay, you know what? Everybody just stop it!" she ordered,
"Okay, listen to me. I need help, okay? Giles, I need grownups."
Snyder and Giles just continued trying to stare each other down.
Buffy sighed. "These children are gonna die if we don't act now, okay, and
think clearly. There is no room for mistakes. Besides which... you guys are just
wigging me out."
Snyder gave in and looked away. Giles gave him one last stare, and then
went back over to Joyce.
"Sorry." Said Giles.
"We'll behave." Joyce agreed.
The two of them hugged again. Buffy rolled her eyes.
"Good." She said, "Snyder, go home.
"I can do that." He replied, then left.
"Giles, we're going to the sewers."
Giles and Joyce kiss again, making Buffy cringe.
"And don't do that!" she ordered, then stalked out of the room.
Angel grinned and shook his head.
"It isn't funny Angel!" she shouted, wiping the smile off his face.
"Hi." Buffy said sweetly, as soon as she jumped down the manhole.
The vampires that were preparing to sacrifice the infants were in shock. Buffy
moved to started her attack as Angel climbed down the ladder, followed by Giles
and Joyce. Angel noticed how much harder it was on his body, whereas he could
have jumped along with Buffy when he was a member of the undead. He realized
that even though he still had more strength than the average guy, he was much
more mortal now. Angel did his best to help Buffy fight the vamps, while Giles
and Joyce pushed the table with the four babies away. When the babies were at a
safe distance, Giles left them and Joyce and went to go help Angel and Buffy.
Angel managed to stake a couple of vamps, then looked around. They had managed
to eliminate all of the vamps, but one that Buffy was fighting. She kicked him
and he stumbled back into a pool of water. All of a sudden they heard a deep
rumbling. The vampire tried to get back out of the water as a huge demon snake
appears through a tunnel by the pool.
"What the Hell is that?" asked Giles.
"I'm thinking Lurconis." Angel replied.
"I'm thinking you're right." Buffy said.
The snake saw the vampire and swallowed him in one fell swoop. A moment later it
looked around for it's next 'meal'. Buffy looked around frantically for a way to
stop the demon. She noticed a gas pipe above her, and leaped up to grab it. It
broke under her weight, and gas began to hiss out of it. Buffy angled the gas
pipe into one of the torches, causing it to burst into flames. She aimed it at
Lurconis, and the snake demon reared back and screamed in pain. Joyce watched in
terror, while Angel and Giles did in awe. Buffy waved the pipe around until
Lurconis was engulfed in flames. She pushed the gas
pipe aside as the demon retreated back into its tunnel, screaming.
Joyce came out of the shadows and over to Buffy, asking "Can we go home
now?"
"Yeah, we can go home. I've got the SATs tomorrow."
" Oh, blow them off. I'll write you a note."
"No. It's okay."
The two females walked over to the babies, while Angel and Giles peered down the
tunnel where Lurconis had gone. Angel shrugged, then went over to help get the
infants out of there.
"Poor babies." Joyce exclaimed as she picked one of them up.
"Come on..."
"This night has been too weird."
"I'd have to agree with you there." Angel replied, smiling at his love
as she walked back into her bedroom. "Your mom all settled in?"
"Yup." She replied as she sat on her bed next to him. "She's
sound asleep and I doubt she'll wake up for hours."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah." Buffy replied, then sighed as Angel began rubbing her
shoulders. "Angel?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you stay tonight?"
"Honey, you have to get up early for your SAT's tomorrow. Anyway, chances
are your mom will be back to normal tomorrow. I doubt she would be happy to find
me here."
"I have to leave at about 7:30, I am sure she'll sleep late if I don't wake
her. If she gets up we can just tell her you came over to drive me!" She
coaxed him. "Come on, it's not even ten o'clock yet! We can.. have some fun
for a little while and go to sleep and I will get plenty of sleep for my living
nightmare tomorrow."
Angel smiled and held her chin. "You'll do great, I just know it!"
He leaned down and kissed her sweetly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and
pulled him down for a deeper kiss. They soon fell back on the bed, with Angel on
top.
Buffy pushed his jacket off and he moved his arms to aid her. They soon peeled
all of each other's clothes off. Angel dipped a finger in her warmth, amazed by
her wetness. He soon added another digit and massaged her inner walls, causing
her to moan and arch into his hand.
"Angel.. need you.. inside me… NOW!"
Always one to oblige his lady Angel positioned himself between her legs and
slide inside her to the hilt. They both gasped in pleasure.
Soon Angel started moving back and forth, sliding in and out of her. He was soon
pulling almost all the way out of her, leaving only the tip of his penis inside,
then slamming all the way back in. He started moving faster and faster, unaware
of the banging the headboard was making against the wall. All they were aware of
was each other and the building of pressure where their bodies joined. Angel
knew he was close, so he moved his hand down to where he was sliding in and out
of her warmth and started massaging her clit. Soon after Buffy groaned as she
spasmed around him, milking his exploding member as he joined her in ecstasy.
Panting, Angel collapsed onto the bed. He rolled over, pulling Buffy along with
him. He lightly ran his fingers in circles on her back, until he felt her even
breathing as she slept. He smiled, then reached over and switched off the lamp.
