MAKING UP IS HARD TO DO

"Can’t you tell that I love you?! I loved you the moment I set eyes on you in the alley behind the Bronze." Buffy had woken up and remembered what had happened earlier night, but there was still more for them to work out. Right now, they were trying.

"I love you, too, but you don’t understand."

"I don’t understand?! I think you’re that one that doesn’t understand! These feelings I have for they you won’t just disappear! They’re gonna stay with me forever . How could you have just left me?!"

"I did what I thought was right."

"Yeah? Well you were wrong! I need you in my life."

"I need you, too. That’s why I came back. I couldn’t leave. Without you, I’d be dead."

"I love you so much. You broke my heart, and I don’t know how long it’s going to take to fix it."

"Take as much time as you want. But please, I need you. I know I have no right to ask for your forgiveness, but Buffy, please…"

"I said that it would take a long time to fix, but I didn’t say that I didn’t forgive you. For some reason, I always left you, too, but you always took me back. Why?"

"Because I love you."

"And I love you. That’s why I forgive you, and that’s why I don’t want to let you go. Do you honestly believe that I would let you stay away from me for a long time? Do you think I would just let you leave my life?"

"No."

"Good. You’re right. I love you."

"And I love you." Angel leaned towards Buffy and captured her lips in a searing kiss, filled with love, passion, anger, and forgiveness. They had forgiven each other, and now they could truly be happy. That night, they fell asleep together with nothing but happy thoughts. That night, two lovers totally different defied the laws of Fate all for the truth of love.
